Following Article 130 of Law 4957/2022, the institution of the Student Advocate has been implemented at the University of the Peloponnese by decision of its Senate numbered 237/12/30.05.2023.
In this regard, the Office of the Student Advocate and the corresponding website at synigoros.uop.gr are in operation, where students can apply.
The purpose of this specialized institution is to defuse conflicts, promote academic dignity, and support students throughout their academic life.
The mission of the Office of the Student Advocate is to mediate between students (undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral) and professors or administrative services of the Institution, to observe legality in the context of academic freedom, to deal with phenomena of maladministration, and to safeguard the orderly operation of the Institution.
