Award of Excellence in Undergraduate Studies
With the ultimate goal of improving the quality of undergraduate studies, through the development of polite competition among students, the Department awards a best performance award to reward students who have excelled in their year of study and overall in their studies. The award consists of an honorary diploma, a sum of money and an honorable mention on the Department’s website, provided the student gives his/her consent.
In addition, the final year student of the 5th year is granted a scholarship to study for free at the Department’s Post Graduate Studies.
Academic year 2021-2022 – Excellence in Undergraduate Studies:
- 3rd year of studies: Kolovos Menelaos
- 2nd year of studies: Theodoros Kouloudis
- 1st year of studies: Jajuin Wu
Award of Excellence in Teaching
The Department has a statutory commendation of excellent teaching, which is awarded annually to the lecturer who collected the highest score during the evaluation of teaching work by the students in the questions of category B “Students and Teachers” of the questionnaire “Questions of the Theoretical Part of Courses”.
The award consists of an honorary diploma and an honorable mention on the Department’s Website, provided the Teacher gives his/her consent. Each academic year’s commendation is awarded as part of the following year’s freshmen reception.
