The Department of Mechanical Engineering is part of the School of Engineering of the University of the Peloponnese at Patra, Achaia, where its educational and administrative activities are located.
Objectives of the Faculty of Mechanics and Priorities of its Department of Mechanical Engineers are the following.

School of Engineering, University of the Peloponnese

As a School/Faculty with Technological Sectors, it emphasizes on training professionals at high-quality applications, with their theoretical and applied scientific training:

  1. Being a link between knowledge and application by developing the engineering  dimension of science and arts in pertinent professional fields.
  2. Transfer, use and promote modern technology, methods, practices and techniques in high-value applications.

Based on these commitments, the Faculty of Engineers of the University of Peloponnese combines the development of a suitable theoretical background with high-level laboratory and practical training.
